Dear Mrs. Mogilner:
Your letter of October 10th is re-
ceived. Personally I am not responsible for the choice
of a sculptor for the Leschetizky memorial monument. I
was not in Vienna last summer. Other members of the com-
mittee examined several plans submitted by the Viennese
artists, and it was the consensus of their opinion that
Mr. Taglang's sketch was not the best.
